The show she played in 92 performances earned praise from Canadian theater critics. She was offered the opportunity to enroll in the Stratford Conservatory. It allows only eight males as well as four female students for a crash course in the art of classical theatre. Contractor eagerly accepted. Her place in the upcoming production was secured, and she was chosen in the play as Hermia.
